Whenever an associate becomes a pin rank holder or becomes a
person who has got a group of people working in his supervision, he/ she starts
taking weekly or monthly targets and these targets are usually ( most of the
times) are in terms of sales or income. This target is distributed amongst
different sub groups and the responsibility is also assigned to the upcoming
leaders of that particular organization. This is an extremely good habit to
develop and this should be every week by assessing the work done in the
previous week and the growth of the group as well. But what I wanted to point
out today was that “network marketing is
not a business of sales, it is a business of teaching or training people”. Thus
there must be somebody, most of the times the senior most leader of any
organization who must take care of the other aspects of the business as well
which include – personality development of the associates , their mutual
bonding , formation of core groups , commitment level, setting of priorities,
communication, replacements of uplines by new upcoming leaders, duplication,
no. of new presenters in the group, etc. and this should be done as seriously
as w do the sales work. It should always be kept in mind that sales are the
outcome of a well balanced team and there must be a huge amount of focus on
making it balanced and developing trust on the system and the people
